Scuba Diving Day Trips from Tokyo

Join a scuba diving day trip departing from Shibuya, Tokyo, with free round-trip transportation. RODS is a diving service exclusively for gay men.

Rental Equipment & What to Bring

Rental diving equipment is included in the tour price.

Please bring your own swimwear, sandals, and a towel.

Our rental wetsuits fit guests approximately 160–195 cm tall (5 ft 3 in–6 ft 5 in), and rental boots are available in Japanese sizes 26–30 cm (approximately US men’s 8–12 / EU 41–45).

Wetsuit fit also depends on your build, so please contact us in advance to check availability.

Who Can Join

  • Participants must hold a valid scuba diving certification.

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Trip Availability

Diving trips run every Saturday and Sunday, subject to availability.

Sample Itinerary

6:30 AM — Meet in Shibuya, Tokyo
　Travel to the dive site in our shuttle vehicle.
9:00 AM — Arrive at the dive site
10:00 AM — First dive
1:00 PM — Second dive
4:00 PM — Depart from the dive site
7:00 PM — Return to Shibuya, Tokyo. The tour ends here.

Times are approximate and may vary considerably depending on the dive site, sea conditions, and traffic.

Rental diving equipment is included in all tour prices.

  • Additional boat dive: ¥9,000 per dive

  • Additional beach dive: ¥6,000 per dive

All prices are in Japanese yen. Payment is due on the day of your tour.

Participants must hold a scuba diving certification. Beach diving is suitable for newly certified divers.
